MIMAROPA region – MIMAROPA SEADOs disposed all 464 Requests for Assistance (RFAs) filed in the region as of December 31, 2022, achieving 100% disposition rate with 419 settled RFAs or 90.3% settlement rate.
Under Department Order No. 151, Series of 2016, or the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 10396, or βAn Act Strengthening Conciliation-Mediation as a Voluntary Mode of Dispute Settlement for all Labor Cases, Amending for This Purpose Article 228 of Presidential Decree No. 442, as Amended, Otherwise Known as The Labor Code of the Philippines,β Single-Entry Assistance Desk Officers (SEADOs) are mandated to dispose RFAs within 30 days from date of initial conference. Further, the target settlement rate for all regions was set to at least 70%.
The total money claims of Php12,097,739.28 benefitted 874 workers region-wide.
