To meet the increasing demand for blood and augment the national blood requirement, DOLE Occidental Mindoro Field Office, in collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC), conducts bloodletting activity on December 13, 2022, at the DOLE office, Brgy. Pag-asa, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.
The initiative is part of the DOLE’s humanitarian effort to help save more lives in the country.
DOLE OccMin Field Office Head Mr. Peter James D. Cortazar, in his message, “Blood is essential to life, and one of the ways to save a life is to provide blood to someone who needs it. On the other hand, Mr. Joel Ligaya from the Philippine Red Cross – Occidental Mindoro Chapter expressed his gratitude to the blood donors as these could save seven lives and meet the increasing demands for blood in the province.
