EL NIDO, PALAWAN – After surpassing their 2022 target with 2,261 inspected establishments or 105% inspection accomplishment and with a 97% case disposition rate as of 31 October 2022, DOLE MIMAROPA held its first awarding activity for the Labor Inspectorate Team on 23 November 2022 at Jurias Garden Hotel, El Nido, Palawan.

Seven major awards were given to the labor inspectors and hearing officers who contributed and made a remarkable impact in the successful implementation of the labor inspection program for 2022:
1. Highest number of Inspection: Marjun S. Moreno

For having the highest number of inspection accomplishment with a total of 210 inspected establishments.
2. Most Diligent Labor Inspector: Anna Dominique C. Magbanua

For being the Most Diligent Inspector of 2022 Inspection.
(On-time submission of reports and taking actions to inspected establishments)
3. Highest Compliance Rate during Plant-Level Compliance: Marjun S. Moreno

For reaching the highest compliance rate of 91% (73/80) of the inspected establishments during the Plant-Level Compliance period.
4. Highest Compliance Rate in Case Disposition: Gener L. Francisco

For reaching the highest compliance rate of 83% (18/22) of the handled cases during the Mandatory Conference.
5. Most Improved Labor Inspector: Renell G. Mayo

For surpassing his previous performance record in the field of inspection.
(Demonstrated a remarkable improvement in conducting inspections)
6. Hearing Officer with Highest Monetary Award: Francisco S. Sales III

For effectively demonstrating his exceptional performance in handling mandatory conference reaching the highest monetary award of Php645,911.91.
7. Labor Inspector of the Year: Engr. Rhea J. Paitan

As Labor Inspector of the Year for demonstrating her exceptional performance from Field Inspection to Disposition of Handled Cases.

To make the night more cheerful, 15 Funny Awards were included in the program which highlighted heartening moments of the labor inspectors while conducting field inspection. Some of the awards include the Eager Beaver Award (For doing constant follow-ups and clarification in all aspect of inspection to ensure an error-free output), The 911 Award (For having the greatest number of Occupational Safety and Health Investigation) and The Flash Award ( for contributing 32 inspection output in just 7 days).
