To solidify their collaboration in promoting and innovating the butterfly industry in the province, representatives of the Provincewide Reinvigoration of Economic Skills in Butterfly Industry โ Livelihood and Value Addition (PRESBI-LAV) Convergence Project sealed the deal through a Memorandum of Agreement Signing Ceremony last 15th of October 2022 held at Governorโs Hall, Capitol Compound, Barangay Bangbangalon, Boac, Marinduque.
This convergence project is aimed to institutionalize the butterfly industry through livelihood skills training, livelihood grants, by-product improvements and digital literacy training.
The signees agreed to render mutual collaboration and cooperation to create and provide programs to provide additional income in to the butterfly industry, eventually generate employment and promote tourism in the province:
