Paunti-unti ay palalaguin namin ang proyektong ito” (We would like to thank DOLE MIMAROPA for the livelihood assistance to the women and fishermen of Brgy. Mananao, this is an opportunity to start again especially in this time of crisis where the livelihood of our families is affected. We greatly appreciate the help from the government. We will take care of this project and make it grow) said Ms. Jovelyn D. Mulingbayan and Mr. Michael R. Dawang, the president of the associations.

DOLE OccMin Field Office Chief Bernardo B. Toriano said, “We understand the need for immediate economic recovery for low-income households who lose much of their income. DOLE strongly supports anything that is good for the people. We are for the “whole-of-nation” approach because it will surely benefit all who are really in need. The previous year may be full of challenges, but that shouldn’t prevent us finding ways to attain peace and success”.

DILEEP seeks to contribute to poverty reduction and reduce the vulnerability to risks of the working poor, vulnerable and marginalized workers either through emergency employment, and promotion of entrepreneurship and community enterprises.
