Both LGU Mayors’ Esteban Madrona (San Agustin) and Dr. Riza Famorada (Alcantara) thanked the Department in its effort to help their constituents especially that we are still fighting unemployment brought about by the pandemic.

In compliance with the IATF guidelines, workers were oriented on strict observance of existing health standards like wearing of face masks and face shields, observing social distancing, disinfecting/washing hands to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Also, their work is limited to 4 hours per day.

TUPAD workers are engaged for fifteen (15) days in the maintenance and improvement of public utilities and infrastructures in the locality like de-clogging of canals, debris clearing, tree planting, seedling preparation and other agro-forestry community projects.

Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) is a community-based package of assistance that provided emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed, and seasonal workers for a minimum period of ten (10) days but not to exceed 30days depending on the nature of work to be performed.
